HELP WANTED - Construction Project Engineer
Paug-Vik Development Corporation (PDC) is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to work in our Anchorage, AK office. Applicants must have 5 years min. of continuous experience in reading blueprints, completing material takeoffs, are familiar with construction estimating, the submittal process, project closeout procedures.
Responsibilities will be to assist the Project Managers with day-to-day activities the Anchorage Office is involved with on remote Alaska Construction Projects. Other duties are preparing project estimates, material purchasing and shipments, organizing material submittal’s for approval, coordinating crew travel to and from remote projects, coordinating material freight to remote projects and all the paperwork associated with these tasks and any other that may be needed.
Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project. Experience with Procore Project Management System, scheduling programs, along with a background in vertical construction in remote Alaska is a plus. A good attitude, willingness to learn and take on any task is required.

HELP WANTED - Journeyman Carpenters
Paug-Vik Development Corporation (PDC), An Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking experienced Journeyman Carpenters to work in remote locations in Northwest Alaska for extended periods of time. Carpenters must have 5 years min. of continuous experience with foundations, floor, wall, roof framing, interior framing, siding, metal roofing and interior finishes.
Wages would be depending on experience (DOE) approx. 60 hrs p/week.

HELP WANTED - Construction Project Manager
Paug-Vik Development Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work in our Anchorage, AK office. Projects include new facility construction, remodels to operational facilities and occasionally, residential construction.
- The applicant would have extensive experience developing proposals/bids and managing Federal, State and local government facility construction work throughout Alaska including Rural Communities with the skill to smoothly, precisely and efficiently manage remote Alaska construction projects. They would possess skills typical of an experienced journeyman carpenter. The remote work we focus on requires that Project Managers have extensive, real-world, on-site experience. You might be the right candidate if you’ve spent years working as a GC’s Project Superintendent, even if your computer and CPM skills are currently sub-par. The ability to anticipate and prevent problems is the most critical skill on remote Alaska construction projects.
- Must have the ability to productively interact with a diverse client group including public and private sector agencies and individuals.
- The applicant would have an even, mature temperament that seeks to minimize conflict with clients, subcontractors, employees and Co-Workers while maintaining a disciplined work environment.
- It is desired the applicant would have functional computer skills including MS Word, Excel, MS Project and Primavera as well as experience using project management software including Projnet, Progen and Procore.
- The applicant would reside in the Anchorage AK area or be willing to relocate for full time employment and also be able to pass Federal/TSA-SIDA background checks for work on airport facilities as well as be able to pass Non-DOT drug test.

Compensation: Depending on experience, with 40 hour work weeks expected, plus benefits including Health insurance, paid holidays and accrued annual and sick leave.
